Vegan at Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival 2025

Who doesn’t love an Epcot Festival? Ask any Disney fan, and they’ll happily share their favorite with you, along with a list of reasons why they chose it. As for me, it’s a tough call between Flower & Garden and Food & Wine. We love the Garden Graze (vegan-friendly) dining activity/event at Flower & Garden, but we also had some truly fantastic eats this year at Food & Wine (plus, the Eat to the Beat concert series is awesome and we like to watch a lot of those performances from home.)

Although The Food & Wine Festival ended on November 22, Disney has been known to carry over some food items from year to year…so you might have a chance to try one of these in 2026.

During our two Epcot park visits on our fall trip, we tried to sample as many of the veg-friendly options as possible. We split everything between our three family members, except for the burgers (we grabbed those for lunch with fries), and the dessert (which we loved so much when we split it we each got our own on day two!)

A couple notes:

All items below are vegan, although for ease I do not describe individual foods or dish ingredients as vegan or plant-based.

Festival booths aren’t always consistent, so people tend to have different dining experiences from day to day. (It also sometimes takes the festivals a bit of time to find their footing, and the first few days can see varying quality across booths.)

Here they are, in no particular order:

🏆 Flavors from Fire – Montreal-style Burger Slider (Stephanie’s Best of the Fest)

Impossible beef, cheddar, tomato jam, Bibb lettuce, garlic aioli on a sesame seed bun

This burger was cooked and flavored perfectly, really hitting the spot for lunch when partnered with the fries we picked up at The Fry Basket. The cheese was blended into the patty so it was melted (rare at WDW!) and the whole thing was just very memorable for a burger lover like me.

The Fry Basket – Fry Flight (modified)

sea salt-malt vinegar fries (vegan as-is)

substituted the parmesan & truffle fries with plain fries

sweet potato casserole fries (requested with no pecans or marshmallow cream)

The Fry Basket – Adobo Yuca Fries

with garlic cilantro aioli

We love French fries, and this quartet of deliciousness was perfect for sharing among the family. The Fry Basket was far and away the longest line we waited in at Food & Wine, but we are glad we stuck around. The salt and vinegar fries didn’t have a pronounced flavor in our batch, so they didn’t taste much different from the plain fries (which we loved and were cooked perfectly with a nice crispy and salty exterior.) The sugared sweet potato fries were a nice complement to the savory flavors, and the garlicky yuca fries were the star. Pro tip: dip the plain fries in the aioli that comes with the yuca fries – they were overly sauced for us (and very garlicky) so we had a lot of extra dip available for this hack.

🏆Brew-Wing Lab at The Odyssey – Impossible Chicken Tenders (Brian’s Best of the Fest)

tossed in buffalo sauce with ranch and blue cheese crumbles

My husband’s Best of the Fest goes to the buffalo wings, a nice treat for vegans since plant-based chicken tenders aren’t served anywhere else in WDW. (He actually ordered these twice!) The sauce had some kick, but not overly so, and the ranch and blue cheese crumbles were a creamy and tangy accompaniment.

Brew-Wing Lab at the Odyssey – Frozen Pomegranate & Raspberry Tea

pomegranate and raspberry herbal teas with orange ice cream molecules

This drink (served in a souvenir cup) was so incredibly refreshing, it would be perfect on a hot Epcot day. For me, it was an evening drink, and the ice cream balls mostly froze the entire thing into a giant cup of fruity ice. That said, I wouldn’t hesitate to get this again, as the flavors were delicious and not overly sweet.

India – Potato and Pea Samosa

with coriander lime cream

This is the classic samosa elevated with a coriander lime cream that is so nicely flavored it really makes the dish. These are just a go-to favorite for many at the Fest, not just vegans.

Greece – Moussaka (with Impossible beef)

I can’t imagine enjoying this dish in the peak Florida heat, but on a cool evening it was pleasant for us. The vegetables and broth were seasoned nicely, and the mashed potatoes on top were creamy and good. It’s not a photogenic dish by any means, but it’s a good option (although Greece isn’t a booth I’d run back to.)

Forest & Field – Autumn Chili

Impossible beef with root vegetables, cheddar, and sour cream in a bread bowl

Our only miss of the festival, the autumn chili initially delighted us with its seasonal spices, but we quickly realized how THICK it was. That, combined with the giant chewy bread bowl, made for a hard-to-eat dish that just didn’t feel like chili. (We were trying to tear off chunks of bread and spread the meat and veggie mixture on top.) I loved the sour cream and cheese and wouldn’t have said no to more of that. A lot of people enjoyed this chili, so we are probably in the minority in not being wowed.

Simmering Sips – Strawberry Champagne Trifle

We started on evening one by sharing one dessert, and on day two we each bought our own…so that should tell you right there how our family felt about this new festival treat. The custard-y layer was so creamy and vanilla-y and delicious, the strawberry layer tasted sweet and fresh and not fake, and the crispy garnish on top gave a nice contrasting crunch to the whole thing (but didn’t really have much flavor by itself.) We were initially leery (we had heard it described as a yogurt parfait, but it did NOT taste like yogurt) and we ended up loving it.

Bramblewood Bites – Cast Iron Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Root Vegetables

with dried cranberries, spiced pumpkin seeds, and pumpkin seed vinaigrette

Is it the sexiest dish on the Food & Wine menu? Absolutely not, but I do love a roasted veggie and there was no way I was passing this up. Our serving was cooked well – the veggies still had some crisp to them and the cranberries and pumpkin seeds added an extra punch of flavor and crunch.

Epcot has so many delicious vegan options, and the festivals really kick it up a notch and make it hard to decide what you’ll eat during your time there. We are huge fans of splitting and snacking so we can try out as many foods as possible, and we always have a plan going in.
