Clients recently returned from their incredible honeymoon to Ireland, touring the beautiful island with Globus. Destinations included Dublin, Kildare, Cashel, Limerick, Ennis, Ring of Kerry, Killarney, Blarney, Waterford, and back to Dublin for two extra nights.
Their favorite part about touring Ireland was that they were able to see so many places, easily, in one trip. They also had fun meeting fellow travelers from around the world and spending time with them throughout the itinerary.
Here are some thoughts and memories my clients shared with me during our post-travel phone call:

Highlights of Ireland included:
- The Cliffs of Moher
- Ring of Kerry
- Making scones at the sheep farm – they even purchased scone cutters and brought home a recipe so they can recapture the taste and experience from the trip
- Seeing the wool mills and stores in person
- Visiting the National Gallery of Ireland and spotting a Vermeer painting
- Going to the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin, along with sampling beers and trying new foods throughout the trip
- Eating lunch in Cashel, near where the client’s grandmother was from, felt really special
The number one thing they will remember is the beautiful scenery.
They also participated in four excursions offered by Globus:

Medieval Castle Banquet: A four-course feast, complete with mead and honey, all while being entertained by Irish song and dance, and learning about the history of Ireland.
Jaunting Car Ride: A horse-drawn jaunting car trots through Killarney National Park while the driver shares stories, points out wildlife, and stops for scenic photo opportunities.
Waterford Pub Evening: This lively pre-dinner event drinks and song in a traditional Irish pub.
Taylors Irish Cabaret: A three-course dinner, Irish Coffee, and lots of song and dance make for a festive evening out.
